Today I got an unexpected parcel in the post which contained a couple of copies of the Cheltenham Illustration awards Annual. Tis' an absolute delight to see my work in print.
Having purchased quite a lot of old magazines from the 50s and 60s, I have found myself perusing the adverts section and I must say, its a comedy gold mine. This gave me an idea to maybe turn some of them into screen/t-shirt prints.
So, after spending 4 hours yesterday in A&E after slicing my index finger open, I woke up early today to start making more work for my BB project. At the moment im working on images inspired by the song "Ideology".
Yesterday, we had a lecture with Simon Richings from Tribal DDB.
I didn't find this one as interesting as James Langdon talk. Although I thought he was very good at what he did, the projects seemed to have to high a production value (if that makes sense).
